Undercover and Vans Team Up With Artist Emily Bennett for a Three-Shoe Pack

Vans

Undercover and Vans have come together on a three-shoe collection that puts British artist Emily Bennett’s paintings at the center. The pack includes two versions of the Vans Slip-On and a black-and-white take on the SK8-Hi, with every pair priced at $110.

Vans has been one of the most consistent forces in action sports and street footwear since the brand launched in Anaheim, California in 1966. Built around direct-to-consumer sales from the start, Vans grew its reputation through skateboarding, surf culture, and eventually a wider youth-culture audience that spanned music, art, and fashion. The Slip-On, one of the brand’s most iconic silhouettes, has been in the lineup for decades and remains one of the cleanest low-profile canvases in sneakers. The SK8-Hi, with its padded collar and vulcanized sole, is equally entrenched in the Vans catalog and has crossed over from the skate world into everyday wear for generations of wearers.

Vans

Undercover is the Tokyo-based label founded by Jun Takahashi, known for bringing a conceptual, often art-forward lens to its collaborations. The brand has a long history of working with Vans, and this new collection continues that relationship by centering the work of Emily Bennett. Bennett’s paintings take over the upper of the Slip-On, using the low-profile silhouette as an uninterrupted surface. One of the works featured is “Ardour,” completed in 2011. The result is a pair of shoes that functions as much as wearable art as it does a classic Vans model.

The full Undercover x Vans pack, including the two Slip-On styles and the SK8-Hi, is priced at $110 per pair and is set to release June 24. If you want to explore more from either brand, the broader Vans Vault catalog and Undercover’s ongoing collaborations are worth a closer look.
