The Jumpman Lands on a World Cup Kit: Jordan Brand x Brazil and the Tiempo Maestro

Jordan Brand and the Brazilian Football Confederation have teamed up on a release that crosses two of sport’s biggest visual identities. The centerpiece is the Jordan Tiempo Maestro, a football boot built on Nike’s Tiempo heritage and dressed in full Jordan Brand DNA, arriving in an Infrared 23 colorway with elephant print detailing and the Jumpman on the tongue. Design cues were pulled directly from the Air Jordan 3 and the Air Jordan 6, making this one of the more specific and considered translations of basketball design language into a football context.

Jordan Brand launched in 1984 as a sub-label of Nike built around Michael Jordan, and it has spent four decades growing into one of the most recognized marks in global sportswear. The Jumpman logo is among the most identifiable in any sport, not just basketball, and the brand has extended into football in recent years through partnerships with clubs and limited footwear drops. Putting the Jumpman on a national team’s World Cup kit, however, is a genuine first in the brand’s history and a different category of commitment entirely.

The Tiempo is Nike’s heritage leather football boot, a line built around touch, control, and a clean silhouette that has been on pitches for decades. The Tiempo Maestro is the first boot in that line to carry full Jordan Brand design treatment, which means elephant print, Infrared 23, and the Jumpman sitting on the tongue alongside those Air Jordan 3 and Air Jordan 6 references. A futsal version, the Tiempo Gato, is also part of the range.

Brazil is the most decorated nation in World Cup history, and the partnership puts the Jumpman on the Seleção’s white away kit for the 2026 tournament. When Brazil play in white this summer, that logo on the chest is Jordan Brand’s. Estêvão of Brazil will wear the Maestro during the tournament, giving the boot direct on-pitch visibility at the highest level of the competition.

The Jordan Tiempo Maestro in the Infrared 23 colorway is available now through Jordan Brand and Nike’s football retail channels. If this release connects with you, it is worth exploring the broader Jordan Brand football catalogue and the wider Tiempo line to see where these two worlds keep crossing over.
