Jordan Brand is bringing back the Air Jordan 7 with the ‘Miro’ colorway on July 10, 2026. This marks the first retro release of this makeup since 2008.
The shoe draws inspiration from two distinct sources. The primary reference point is Michael Jordan and the Dream Team’s gold medal run at the 1992 Barcelona Olympics. The ‘Miro’ name and design also pay homage to Spanish painter and sculptor Joan Miró, creating a visual bridge between basketball history and art. The color blocking reflects this dual inspiration.

The Air Jordan 7 debuted in 1992 during the same year as the Barcelona Games, making this retro release thematically connected to that era. The silhouette, designed by Peter Moore, became a cornerstone of the Jordan line and has remained a regular fixture in retro rotations.
This particular colorway will appeal to collectors interested in Olympic-themed Jordans as well as those drawn to artistic collaborations and design-forward aesthetics.
