Air Jordan 1 Low ‘Last Dance at the Garden’ Drops September 26

Jordan Brand is releasing an Air Jordan 1 Low inspired by one of Michael Jordan’s most memorable performances. On March 8, 1998, Jordan played his last game at Madison Square Garden, leading the Chicago Bulls to a 112-108 victory over the Knicks with 42 points, a season high for that game. Notably, Jordan wore an original Air Jordan 1 in the Chicago colorway that night, despite being on his thirteenth signature shoe with Nike at the time. He stuck with the pair because he was playing so well and refused to change them out, even though the shoes were old and a full size too small.

The “Last Dance at the Garden” Air Jordan 1 Low reimagines that Chicago colorway with elevated details. The base uses white full-grain leather, while overlays feature a jacquard textile mixing a red floral pattern over a black backdrop. Black leather Swooshes have metallic gold backing, and gold accents appear on the lower metal eyelets and Air Jordan wings branding on the heels. A blue and orange webbing loop sits just below the Nike Air tag on the tongue, nodding to the New York Knicks and their home arena.

This release joins Jordan Brand’s moments-themed sneaker series, following iconic releases like the “Last Shot” Air Jordan 14 and “Flu Game” Air Jordan 12. The Air Jordan 1 Low has become a staple in the Jordan Brand lineup, offering a lower-cut take on the classic 1985 silhouette that elevated basketball footwear.

The Air Jordan 1 Low “Last Dance at the Garden” releases September 26, 2026. Pricing is expected to exceed the standard Air Jordan 1 Low retail price of $150, though exact pricing has not been confirmed. Special packaging details are still to be revealed.
