Air Jordan 3 Retro Laser Release Date, Price, and Where to Buy

Air Jordan 3 Retro Laser, style code JA1369-001

Jordan Brand is putting the laser back to work, and the Air Jordan 3 Retro Laser is the pair from that group that made noise before anyone saw a retail image. Jayson Tatum wore it on the road in London this summer, and it has been on collector radars ever since.

Laser etching is not a new Jordan idea. Nike started burning fine graphics into leather uppers in the mid 2000s, and the Air Jordan 3 was one of the models that carried the treatment during that original run. This version starts with a white leather base, adds brown suede to the toe and heel bumpers, then fills the upper with etched Jordan graphics. There are 23s, lay-up silhouettes, shoe prints, and Nike logos worked into the panels. A red Jumpman on the tongue is the only real color break.

This signals Jordan Brand leaning on texture instead of color for the back half of 2026. Elephant print already does a lot of visual work on the AJ3, so covering the rest of the panels in fine etched line art is a bet that buyers want detail they have to lean in to see. It also lets one design idea run across several silhouettes, which is how Jordan has been building seasonal stories lately. This one is for the collector who has enough loud pairs and wants something that reads quiet from ten feet away.

Release details: $230, releasing August 22, 2026. Style code JA1369-001, colorway Phantom/University Red-Palomino-Sail.

Where to buy: Nike SNKRS and select Jordan Brand retailers, in-store and online.
