Awake NY closes out its Air Jordan 6 project with the pink pair, listed as Bubblegum and carried on Jordan’s own product pages as Playful Pink. It is the second half of a two-colorway collaboration, following the navy version.

Angelo Baque’s Brooklyn label has been in the Jordan Brand orbit for years, starting with the Jordan Air Ship and running through a well-received Air Jordan 5 pack last year that included the Pink Ice colorway. That shoe landed on plenty of year-end lists, so returning to a pink palette on the AJ6 is not a coincidence. The upper is split, with lighter pinks on the front half and hotter shades on the heel and collar. A semi-translucent pink midfoot cage carries the Awake baroque A logo. Infrared 23 hits land on the lace lock, heel spoiler, and the Nike Air text, sitting over a black midsole.
To me that signals Awake understands the value of a signature. Most collaborators chase a new idea every time out. Baque has effectively claimed pink inside Jordan Brand, and doing it again on the 6 in the model’s 35th anniversary year turns a colorway into a running body of work. That is a harder thing to build than a single hit.
Release details: $230, releasing August 24, 2026. Style code IQ5706-600, colorway Playful Pink/Infrared 23-Shy Pink-Arctic Pink.
Where to buy: Awake NY, Nike SNKRS, and select Jordan Brand retailers.
