Air Jordan 4 Retro London Release Date, Price, and Where to Buy

Air Jordan 4 Retro London, style code IV6048-001

Jordan Brand is closing out summer with a UK-exclusive Air Jordan 4 Retro built around the city of London.

The Air Jordan 4 arrived in 1989 as Tinker Hatfield’s follow-up to the Air Jordan 3, and it was the first Jordan model to reach a truly global audience, thanks in part to the Spike Lee campaigns and Michael Jordan’s shot over Craig Ehlo in the 1989 playoffs. Nearly four decades later, the mesh side panels and winged eyelets are still the most recognizable design language in the Jordan catalog.

This one leans on texture. A thick coat of deep grey suede covers the upper, with a lighter grey on the vamp, the netting, and the winged eyelets. Black lands on the midsole, lace wings, laces, and tongue tag. Brick red hits the Jumpman tongue logo and the outsole, LDN sits on the heel, and “Say Less” is printed on the back of the tongue.

To me, the city-exclusive play signals where Jordan Brand’s energy is going. Instead of another general release colorway fighting for shelf space, this is a regional drop that gives one market something it can claim. London has one of the deepest sneaker retail scenes outside the US, and building a Jordan 4 specifically for that audience is a smarter use of the silhouette than a wide release would be. It also means US buyers who want a pair will be paying above retail on the secondary market.

Release details: The Air Jordan 4 Retro London releases September 12, 2026 for $230. The style code is IV6048-001.

Where to buy: Nike and SNKRS, plus select Jordan Brand retailers in the UK, in-store and online.
