Jordan Brand closed out April 2026 with the Cap and Gown Air Jordan 6, the third model to join the graduation-themed series that had become one of Jordan Brand’s most beloved seasonal franchises. The AJ6 brought the Cap and Gown concept to Tinker Hatfield’s 1991 championship shoe, the silhouette that started Michael Jordan’s run of six titles.
All-black construction with subtle academic motifs gave the Cap and Gown AJ6 the same wearable elegance that had made the series work across multiple silhouettes. The shoe speaks to graduating students in a language that resonates far beyond sneaker culture.
The Air Jordan 6 Cap and Gown retailed at $215 and released April 30, 2026 through Nike SNKRS and select Jordan Brand retailers, just in time for spring graduation season.
