Jordan Brand is adding another women’s Air Jordan 6 Retro Low to a 2026 calendar that already runs deep, and this one arrives in a Desert Berry colorway that pairs black nubuck with a pink iridescent finish.
The upper is built from black nubuck with panels of Desert Berry iridescence running through the sides. The tone shifts depending on the light, and it carries over to the Jumpman-branded lace lock. Metallic Silver handles the heel spoiler and sections of the midsole, which keeps the contrast from getting too heavy against all that black.
The Air Jordan 6 arrived in 1991 as Michael Jordan’s shoe for his first championship run, designed by Tinker Hatfield with the visible heel tab, the rubber tongue pull, and the clean toe. The low-top version showed up in 2002 and has never carried the same weight as the mid. Jordan Brand retros it in stretches rather than consistently, and a good share of those runs have been women’s exclusives.
That signals Jordan Brand is treating the 6 Low the way it treats the 1 Low, as a place to test finishes and materials without risking the flagship. Iridescent panels on a nubuck upper is a material story, not a nostalgia story, and it is aimed at a buyer who wants a familiar shape with something worth looking at up close.
