ANTA and Kyrie Irving Drop the KAI 3 “Triple Black: Shadow Work”

ANTA KAI 3 Triple Black: Shadow Work lateral profile

Kyrie Irving’s ANTA line keeps building meaning into the product, and the latest KAI 3 is the darkest and most personal colorway yet.

ANTA and Irving have released the KAI 3 “Triple Black: Shadow Work,” a near all-black version of his signature shoe themed around the idea of shadow work, the private, unglamorous effort that happens long before any of it shows up in a win. Drenched almost entirely in black, the shoe is meant to stand for the preparation, sacrifice, and self-reflection behind real growth.

The details carry the story. Embroidery on the heel is picked out in Kyrie’s signature purple alongside grey and black, a nod to the layers of self-discovery, while carbon fiber print overlays represent the strength and endurance it takes to push through adversity.

It is not all concept. The KAI 3 keeps its performance focus with lightweight mesh panels for breathability, and matte white buck-inspired materials on the tongue and collar give the blacked-out upper a clean contrast that lets the welded logos sit quietly on top.

The KAI line has quietly become one of the more distinctive signature runs in basketball, pairing real on-court tech with the kind of storytelling Kyrie has always wanted in his shoes. “Triple Black: Shadow Work” fits that pattern, a wearable reminder to trust the process even when the results are not visible yet.

The ANTA KAI 3 “Triple Black: Shadow Work” is out now at a retail price of $135. It is available at ANTA.com, the ANTA Beverly Hills flagship, and select retailers including Scheels and Dick’s Sporting Goods.
