The Awake NY x Air Jordan 6 Retro Blueberry is getting a global release after debuting through Awake NY’s own channels.

Angelo Baque founded Awake NY after years at Supreme, and the brand has built its reputation on New York specificity rather than hype cycles. His Jordan Brand relationship has now moved to the Air Jordan 6, a model that carries its own weight as the shoe Michael Jordan wore for his first championship in 1991.
The Blueberry runs through several shades of blue with suede covering most of the upper and Saffiano leather overlays adding a different texture on top. Infrared hits pull a detail straight from the original Air Jordan 6. Awake NY branding shows up in a reworked Nike Air logo on the heel and again on the tongue, which is a lighter touch than most collaborations get.
Production sits at 25,000 pairs, compared to 10,000 for the earlier Bubblegum release. That sounds like a lot until you consider inventory is split across Nike SNKRS and Jordan NBHD retailers worldwide, and it is unclear how much stock remained after the Awake NY launch. To me that signals Jordan Brand wants this one to actually reach people rather than sit as a pure raffle exercise.
Release details: $230, August 29, 2026, style code IQ5706-400.
Where to buy: Nike SNKRS and select Jordan NBHD retailers.
