ASICS introduces the GEL-NYC 2.0, the next chapter of the lifestyle sneaker that blends archival inspiration with contemporary comfort. The shoe pulls design cues from the GEL-1050, a 2000-era running model, but refines the upper with suede overlays for a present-day finish.

The tooling also nods to ASICS history, drawing from both the GEL-1050 and the GEL-LYTE DS II outsole, creating a hybrid aesthetic built for lifestyle wear rather than performance running. The midsole combines TRUSSTIC support units with GEL technology inserts and FF BLAST PLUS cushioning, delivering a lighter and more comfortable ride compared to the original GEL-NYC.
