The annual Nike Doernbecher Freestyle program returned for 2026 with a class of young designers from OHSU Doernbecher Children’s Hospital who channeled their stories and passions into one-of-a-kind sneaker designs. The Air Jordan 5 was among the silhouettes chosen for this year’s emotionally charged collection.
Each design in the Doernbecher pack reflects a personal journey, with the Jordan 5 iteration featuring original artwork and color choices from its young creator. The program has produced some of the most meaningful footwear releases in Nike’s history.
The Nike Doernbecher Freestyle Air Jordan 5 retailed at $230 and released January 17, 2026 through Nike SNKRS. Proceeds benefit OHSU Doernbecher Children’s Hospital.
