Pharrell Williams and adidas are releasing the Adistar Jellyfish in Dark Brown and Frozen Green on September 19, 2026.
The Adistar Jellyfish surfaced during Clipse’s reunion tour and has become the centerpiece of Pharrell’s current adidas work. This pair uses a dark brown ripstop upper with matching brown leather at the toe, light tan accents on the lace panel and heel, and layered green TPU waves running along the midsole. The bulky Three Stripes panel switches to black for contrast. Chief Keef wore the colorway on social media back in May, months before any retail date existed.
How the shoe gets seeded is the interesting part. Pharrell is putting the Jellyfish on artists rather than athletes, and it has become the most visible new adidas design outside of the terrace models. At $300 it stays a statement piece instead of a volume shoe. To me that signals adidas is comfortable letting Pharrell run a small, high priced lane while Samba and Gazelle carry scale, which is a healthier split than asking one silhouette to do both jobs.
