The Whitaker Group and adidas have linked up on a five-pair run called the Do Not Duplicate Pack, built around the Fourth of July and timed to America’s 250th anniversary. The collection is set to drop on July 3, 2026, and it leans fully into a red, white, and blue theme across two different adidas silhouettes.
Three of the five pairs sit on the Adizero Evo SL Exo, a running-derived silhouette that lives in adidas’s performance-leaning catalog. The remaining two pairs bring back the BW Run in red and blue colorways. The BW Run, short for Boston Women Run, is one of adidas’s older lifestyle runners with roots that go back decades. It carries a clean, low-profile look that kept it a quiet staple in the brand’s archive, and adidas has revisited it on and off over the years.
adidas has been one of the dominant forces in sneaker culture since Adi Dassler founded the brand in Germany in 1949. The three stripes built their name in performance athletics before spreading into lifestyle, and the split personality shows up right here. One half of this pack is modern performance running, the other half is heritage runner, and both get pulled under the same patriotic banner.
The Whitaker Group’s involvement matters too. Pulling a themed pack together across two silhouettes and five colorways is the kind of curation that reads as a moment rather than a single release, and tying it to the 250th anniversary gives it a hook beyond the usual summer drop. To me that signals adidas is comfortable letting partners frame the archive in ways the brand might not do on its own.
This one is aimed at the collector who wants the full set, not the shopper grabbing a single pair. Five pairs, two models, one theme, landing right on the holiday weekend.
