Vans Authentic Ibiza Pack Now Available

The Vans Authentic Ibiza Pack is out now, bringing a set of new colorways to the brand’s most foundational silhouette. The collection includes black, blue, and red versions of the Authentic, each priced at $110, with availability split across a couple of retailers depending on which colorway you want.

Vans launched in 1966 in Anaheim, California, and the brand built its early reputation by selling shoes directly to customers out of its first factory store. That direct relationship with the consumer shaped the brand’s identity for decades, and the Authentic was there from the beginning. The low-top canvas silhouette was one of the first shoes the company produced, and it has remained in continuous production ever since, making it one of the longest-running sneakers in the industry. Simple in construction, flat-soled, and offered in a wide range of colorways over the years, the Authentic sits at the core of what Vans is.

The model’s durability as a cultural object comes from its adaptability. Skateboarders adopted it early because of the grip and flat sole. Art communities, musicians, and streetwear circles picked it up later for the same reasons people are still buying it today, clean lines and a canvas upper that takes color and pattern well.
