Chavarria, known for his work examining Chicano identity and American masculinity through fashion, brought a considered perspective to adidas’s futuristic runner platform.
The black colorway featured Chavarria’s signature sensibility in the materials and subtle design choices, making the Megaride AG feel less like a simple branded collab and more like a genuine design statement. The partnership expanded adidas’s reach into high-fashion circles while keeping the product grounded in wearability.
