The Broken Arm and Salomon Introduce the Savát, a New Minimalist Silhouette

The Broken Arm and Salomon are releasing the Savát, a brand-new sneaker silhouette born from a decade-long partnership between the Paris-based retailer and the outdoor footwear brand. The shoe arrives June 16, 2026, in two colorways at $170 each.

The Savát strips away complexity in favor of minimalist design. The upper is cut from a single piece of suede with minimal stitching and features a tongueless construction that nods to rustic footwear traditions. A rubberized toe cap provides protection for outdoor use, while the thick sole unit is equipped with heavy-duty lugs for grip on varied terrain. Both colorways feature contrasting embroidery stitching along the shoe’s wall.

The first colorway comes in Dark Olive suede, while the second offers a softer Cosmic Sky purple tone. Both pairs share the same intentional, pared-down approach to materials and construction.

The Broken Arm, which opened in Paris in 2012, has become known as a discerning fashion retailer. The boutique gained further recognition in sneaker culture by being one of the first stops for Virgil Abloh’s “The Ten” Nike collaboration in 2017. The store started working with Salomon in 2015 and has collaborated with the brand nearly every year since, with Salomon giving the retailer considerable creative freedom on special releases.

The Savát marks one of the most ambitious projects from this partnership, introducing an entirely new silhouette rather than reimagining an existing Salomon model. The shoe is designed for casual outdoor wear and reflects the retailer’s ability to push both partners beyond their typical offerings.
