New Balance is releasing the ABZORB 1890, a sneaker built on a remix of two distinct eras. The silhouette pairs the 890v3 upper with the original 2002 sole unit, merging decades of New Balance design into a single modern shape that feels both rooted in heritage and forward-thinking.
Underfoot sits ABZORB cushioning, engineered to absorb impact while maintaining comfort for extended wear. The upper combines breathable mesh with flowing overlays to keep the shoe lightweight and responsive. The result is a sneaker positioned equally at home during long nights out or everyday movement around town.
New Balance positioned the ABZORB 1890 alongside imagery from the SNS community, featuring creatives Bianca Guerrero, Dante, and Kevin Mukuri. The campaign explores untold ambitions and “what if” ideas, framing the sneaker as a tool for both dreaming and doing.
