A-COLD-WALL* and Salomon are releasing two collaborative colorways of the ACS Pro on July 1, 2026. The project marks a notable shift for Samuel Ross’s label, which spent several years working closely with Nike and Converse before arriving at this new partnership with the French outdoor and trail brand.
A-COLD-WALL* was founded by Samuel Ross in 2015. Ross built the label around industrial aesthetics, utilitarian construction, and a design language that sits between workwear and high concept fashion. The brand caught early attention in sneaker circles and secured its first major footwear collaboration with Nike in 2017, centering on the Air Force 1. From there, ACW developed a sustained relationship with the Nike family, producing a series of technically ambitious Converse projects before that run came to a close. The move to Salomon puts ACW alongside a growing list of designers and labels who have gravitated toward the French brand’s trail and outdoor silhouettes for collaborative work.
Salomon has been a consistent presence in the crossover space between outdoor performance and street-facing style for several years now. The ACS Pro, a retro runner the brand revived in 2021, has stayed relevant since its return and serves as the base for this two-pair drop. Both pairs feature knit underlays and suede accents alongside ACW branding. The A-COLD-WALL* x Salomon ACS Pro in both Black Olive and royal blue is scheduled to release on July 1, 2026. Pricing has not been announced.
