New Balance has been making shoes since the early twentieth century, beginning as an arch support company in Boston before growing into one of the most respected names in running and lifestyle footwear. Atmos Tokyo, the Japan-based retailer with a long history of exclusive and regional sneaker releases, teased the snakeskin-accented butter yellow colorway on June 15, 2026. The retailer did not confirm an exact release date, and the pale yellow makeup could arrive as an atmos-exclusive, though no details beyond the tease have been confirmed. The teaser also hints at three additional 1890A moccasin colorways in the pipeline, suggesting New Balance is building this model out into a proper family.
New Balance has not announced official pricing for the 1890. Based on what is known right now, the shoe is expected to arrive in Spring 2026 through New Balance and select retailers.
