Nike Book 2 Sunburst Drops in Court Purple and Orange

Nike releases the Book 2 in a Sunburst colorway that pairs Court Purple with Orange, a design tied to Phoenix’s basketball identity and Devin Booker’s connection to the city. The shoe carries style code FZ7013-500 and arrives as the latest iteration in Booker’s signature line with the brand.

Nike has been central to sneaker culture since the 1980s, building its reputation on performance innovation and athlete partnerships. The Book line represents the brand’s commitment to creating footwear tailored to individual players’ on-court needs and aesthetics. Devin Booker, a guard for the Phoenix Suns, launched his signature shoe line with Nike to offer a shoe built around his playing style and personal taste. The Book 2 is his second signature model, continuing a partnership that connects the athlete’s hometown identity to the sneaker itself.

The Sunburst makeup channels the desert landscape and basketball culture of Phoenix through its color choices. The upper uses Court Purple mesh throughout, including on the matching tongue, with Court Purple canvas lace loops keeping the top half tonal. The lateral and medial swooshes arrive in Orange to create contrast against the purple base. A heel pull tab in both Court Purple and Orange features “CHAPTER 2” branding, a direct reference to the Book 2 silhouette.
