Nike LeBron 23 Hardwood Classics Release Date, Price, and Where to Buy

Nike LeBron 23 Hardwood Classics, style code IM5125-400

The Nike LeBron 23 turns up in a Hardwood Classics colorway built on Game Royal, White, and Safety Orange, the Cleveland palette LeBron James keeps circling back to across his signature line.

The Hardwood Classics idea traces to LeBron’s first run with the Cavaliers, when he wore a retro Cavs look on the LeBron 4 in the mid 2000s. From there the blue, orange, and white motif became a recurring theme, showing up on the LeBron 6, the 8, the 15, and the 19. Most fans still hand the crown to the LeBron 7 Hardwood Classic as the best of the bunch, and this new pair adds the 23 to that long list.

Bringing the theme to his newest signature model says something about where the line sits right now. As LeBron’s playing days wind down, Nike is leaning on the Cavaliers chapter of his story, the era that first made him a hometown hero, to keep the signature relevant. The pair started life as a player exclusive before Nike opened it up to the public, so a look originally made for The King is now within reach for everyone who grew up watching those Cleveland teams.

It is a targeted release rather than a general-audience sneaker, aimed at LeBron loyalists and collectors who have followed the Hardwood Classics run from the start.

Release details: $210, releasing August 7, 2026, style code IM5125-400, in the Game Royal/White-Safety Orange colorway.

Where to buy: Nike and SNKRS, plus select Nike retailers in-store and online.
