Nike Ja 4 Nightmare on 12th Street Release Date, Price, and Where to Buy

Nike Ja 4 Nightmare on 12th Street, style code IM4135-405

Ja Morant has a new home in Portland and a signature line that keeps building, and the Nike Ja 4 Nightmare on 12th Street is one of the more striking colorways to come out of it. It carries the style code IM4135-405 and a horror movie theme to match.

The Ja line has moved fast since it launched. Morant became one of Nike‘s most talked about signature athletes almost immediately, and the shoe has always leaned into his explosive, ground-bound style of play. The fourth model continues that idea with a lower, more aggressive build and a new TPU structure Nike calls the JA-Frame, which wraps the foot for lockdown. Under that sits Cushlon 3.0 foam and a SPRPWR insole, a change from the ZoomX setup on earlier pairs.

This colorway is where the fun is. An obsidian blue covers most of the armor-textured upper, then shifts to a neon green on the back of the lateral panel for the nightmare effect. The laces and tongue stay black, while the Swoosh and a JA monogram panel run iridescent metallic gold that shifts color in the light.

This shows Nike is comfortable treating the Ja line like a playground, tying colorways to movies and moments rather than playing it safe. That approach fits a young player who leans into personality, and it gives the sub-$150 basketball market a shoe with actual character.

Release details: The Nike Ja 4 Nightmare on 12th Street releases August 13, 2026 for $130, style code IM4135-405.
