The Nike Kobe 10 Protro Halo brings the Kobe 10 into the Protro program for the first time, and it does it in a clean white and multi-color makeup built on the model’s Flyknit upper.
Kobe Bryant debuted the Kobe 10 in 2015, late in his career and a season before the Kobe 11 closed out the signature line. It ran a knit upper over a low, court-focused tooling, and it has spent the last decade as one of the quieter entries in the range. While the 4, 5, 6, and 8 have all been reissued repeatedly since the Kobe line came back in 2022, the 10 has mostly sat out.
This proves the Protro pipeline has moved past its greatest-hits phase. The 4, 5, and 6 were easy calls with built-in demand. The 10 is the deeper cut, a model from the stretch after the Achilles injury that never built the same secondary market. Putting a Protro badge on it suggests Nike intends to work through the full catalog instead of cycling the same three shoes every year. It also gives hoopers a white pair they can actually play in, which is a different pitch than the collector-first retros.
