The Nike Kobe 3 Low Protro is taking on one of the most recognizable color stories in the entire Kobe line. This pair arrives in Electric Green and Stadium Green, a setup that reads as Grinch the second you see it.
The original Grinch belongs to the Kobe 6, worn on Christmas Day 2010 and treated as a signature moment for the line ever since. Nike has not officially confirmed the nickname for this Kobe 3 Low, but the neon lime upper, the green-to-teal gradient midsole, and the red laces included with the pair make the reference obvious.
The Kobe 3 is a different shoe than the 6 in almost every way. It arrived in 2008, near the end of Kobe Bryant mid and high era before he pushed the line low, and the Protro program has been reworking it for modern play.
