Nike Kobe 3 Low Protro “Platinum Grey” Release Date, Price, and Where to Buy

Nike Kobe 3 Low Protro Platinum Grey, style code IV7127-001

Nike is adding a Pure Platinum and Armory Blue colorway to the Kobe 3 Low Protro for September, and it is one of the more restrained pairs the model has gotten since its return.

The Kobe 3 originally released in 2007, the last of Kobe Bryant’s high-cut Nike signatures before the Kobe 4 moved him to a low top the following year. It is the shoe he wore through the 2007-08 season, the year he won his only MVP award. For a long stretch the 3 was the forgotten model in the line, sitting between the polarizing Kobe 2 and the low-top era that reshaped basketball footwear.

Nike has been working the Kobe 3 Protro steadily since bringing it back, and cutting it down to a low has been the version with the most traction.

This shows the Kobe line settling into a real release calendar instead of running on anniversary drops. A grey and blue colorway with no story attached is a sign of confidence. Brands only make quiet colorways of models they expect to sell on the shoe itself.

Who it is for: hoopers who want the Protro tooling in something that goes with anything, and Kobe collectors filling in the 3 Low.

Release details: The Nike Kobe 3 Low Protro “Platinum Grey” releases September 1, 2026 for $190 under style code IV7127-001, in a Pure Platinum/Armory Blue colorway.

Where to buy: Nike.com and the Nike SNKRS app, plus select Nike Basketball retailers.
