Nike Air Max 90 NFL Indianapolis Colts Release Date, Price, and Where to Buy

Nike Air Max 90 NFL Indianapolis Colts, style code IW1137-001

Nike is bringing the Indianapolis Colts to the Air Max 90 this fall, and the result is a team shoe that leans dark rather than loud. The colorway is listed as Anthracite/Gym Blue/Gym Blue, which puts a near-black leather base underneath Colts blue on the Swoosh, the laces, the midsole, and the branding.

The Air Max 90 has been Nike‘s default canvas for this kind of project since Tinker Hatfield drew it in 1990, and the reason is the panel count. Between the mudguard, the TPU eyestay, the heel counter, and the visible Air unit, there are enough separate pieces to carry a team palette without any one of them taking over. It is the same logic that keeps the silhouette getting handed city and college programs year after year.

This pair sits inside Nike’s broader NFL run for the 2026-27 season, which covers eight teams including the Lions, Jaguars, Packers, Vikings, Texans, Titans, and Bears alongside Indianapolis. That signals Nike is treating league licensing as a volume business now rather than a one-off holiday drop.

Team shoes used to be a novelty aimed at the fan who buys one pair a year. At $140 on a silhouette this recognizable, Nike is aiming at the fan and the sneaker buyer at the same time, and the Colts pair is quiet enough to work on both sides. The perforated toe box and collar keep it from reading as costume, which is usually where these projects fall apart.

Release details: $140. September 1, 2026. Style code IW1137-001.
