Not long after the Air Max Liquid‘s debut for Air Max Day 2026, Hiroshi Fujiwara’s Fragment Design claimed the first collaboration rights to the brand-new silhouette. The Fragment x Air Max Liquid pairing carried the weight of one of Nike‘s most creatively significant long-term partnerships onto a shoe that represented a genuine new direction for the Air Max line.
Fragment’s signature double lightning bolt appeared alongside the Air Max Liquid’s innovative sole construction, with Fujiwara’s characteristically minimal design approach letting the shoe’s new technology serve as the primary visual statement. The result was one of the most technically forward collaborative releases of the year.
The Fragment x Nike Air Max Liquid retailed at $225 and released April 3, 2026 through Nike SNKRS and select global retail partners.
