A signature line is the strongest statement a brand can make about where it thinks a sport is going, and Nike has now made two of them for A’ja Wilson.

The A’Two arrived in May 2026, following the A’One. That sequence matters more than any colorway on this page. Signature basketball shoes are expensive, slow to develop and hard to justify, and for most of the last forty years the ones that got built were for men. A second signature is not a gesture. It means the first one sold, that the demand was real, and that the line is being planned against rather than trialled.

The A’Two also behaves like a signature line rather than a licensing exercise. The colorways carry actual personal reference, from sorority colors to Hot Wheels to UNO, which is the same storytelling grammar the biggest men’s signature lines have used for decades. That grammar is the point. It signals the shoe is a platform for a person’s identity, not a women’s colorway of something else.

This is also where the growth in the sport actually is. Women’s basketball has been the most reliable source of new sneaker demand in recent years, and the brands that treated it as a real market rather than an obligation are the ones now holding the signature athletes.
