New Balance is expanding the 1890‘s color range with a new Nordic Green makeup that lands overseas next month. The shoe combines a tan mesh base with forest green overlays, kelly green accents, and neon green Abzorb cushioning. A toggle lacing system is the key technical addition here, letting you adjust the fit on the fly.
The 1890 sits within New Balance’s lifestyle runner family alongside other retro-inspired models like the 2002, 2010, and 1906. Since its early-year introduction through an Action Bronson collaboration, the silhouette has picked up projects from JoeFreshGoods, Stone Island, and JJJJound. This Nordic Green pair brings a 1990s outdoor aesthetic to the lineup, marking part of New Balance’s summer push with bolder seasonal colorways.

The shoe drops July 1 at select overseas retailers, priced at $180. The style code is U18907BP. Domestic US release timing has not been announced.
