New Balance is dropping a fresh colorway of the Allerdale, its dedicated walking shoe from the Made in UK line. The “Vaporous Grey” version features a sheer white upper paired with a Chipmunk brown leather lining and hidden olive green footbed for a subtle pop of color.

The Allerdale is part of New Balance’s commitment to premium, craft-focused production at their Flimby, England facility. Every pair is handmade by a team of workers at the facility. The shoe was designed as a no-nonsense silhouette purpose-built for walking, with premium leathers used throughout, including the interior linings.
New Balance has produced shoes at their Flimby facility for many years, focusing on exclusive Made in UK models with premium materials and limited stock. The facility has become home to carefully crafted footwear that represents the brand’s commitment to quality construction.

So far, the Allerdale line has stuck to simple, tonal designs with select collaborations from English partners like END Clothing and Drake’s. This release maintains that aesthetic approach, letting the quality construction and premium leather speak for itself rather than leaning on bold graphics or complex colorblocking.
The New Balance Allerdale “Vaporous Grey” releases June 18, 2026 for $250 at New Balance and select retailers.
