Nike is rolling out fresh colorways for the Air Liquid Max, its latest cushioning innovation. The ‘Bred’ version arrives as part of the brand’s Summer 2026 lineup, featuring a black underlay with red textured layers and metallic gold Swooshes and branding.
The Air Liquid Max debuted earlier this year as Nike’s latest Air technology upgrade. The system uses strategically placed spherical pod-like Air bubbles across the sole to provide cushioning where it matters most, while leaving blank spaces to reduce overall weight. The design draws inspiration from Vapormax technology but takes a different approach with its liquid-filled structure.

The ‘Bred’ colorway uses a frog skin-inspired texture on the upper layers, mixing dark and bright red tones over a black base. Metallic gold finishes the look on the branding elements.
The Nike Air Liquid Max ‘Bred’ releases May 28 at Footshop and June 17 on Nike SNKRS. The shoe costs $220.
