Nike is bringing back Penny Hardaway’s Air Zoom Huarache 2K4 in Knicks colors this fall. The retail version arrives September 11, 2026, and pulls directly from a player exclusive Hardaway wore in 2004.
The shoe hits in the classic Knicks blue and orange combination. Like the original PE, this release includes Hardaway’s signature 1 Cent logo on the heels, marking a direct callback to the piece that inspired it.

The Air Zoom Huarache 2K4 remains one of Nike‘s most recognizable basketball silhouettes from the mid-2000s. The model built its reputation on responsive cushioning and a locked-down fit, making it a favorite among on-court players during its original run. This Knicks makeup taps into nostalgia for that era while delivering the same performance DNA that defined the shoe.
Official product photos went live June 15, confirming the details and colorway. Retailers and exact pricing have not yet been announced, but expect the drop to roll out through major Nike channels and sneaker retailers as the September date approaches.
