The whole shoe is drenched in a shade Nike calls Still Blue, running from the molded upper down to the outsole, with small green insole logos as the only break in the color. The Swooshes stay tonal and tucked into the panels rather than interrupting the finish, which is the right way to handle an all-one-color build.
Durant has carried a Nike signature line for well over a decade, and the KD series has long been known as a guard-friendly performance shoe that players actually hoop in. The 19 keeps that reputation. To me the monochrome approach works here because the KD 19’s geometry is interesting enough to carry a single tone. The glossy shell catches the sharp lines in the side panels, so a shoe that could read flat in one color holds real depth in person. It also photographs clean and styles easily off the court, which is a big part of why brands keep returning to the format.
