The Vomero Plus is the maximal version of Nike‘s Vomero running platform, with a taller, softer midsole and a bulkier upper that has made it a favorite for the chunky-runner look. Nike has leaned into that shape with a run of themed colorways, and the Cheat Day is the latest, built as a tribute to taking a day off from strict meal prep and diving into a bag of cheesy chips.
The execution matches the idea. A bright orange covers the toe and lace tips, then fades to ceramic and grey as it moves back across the shoe, like a gradient pulled straight out of a chip bag.
