Swiss running brand On reached a milestone in March 2026 with the Cloudmonster 3 Hyper, its first mass-market shoe to feature the brand’s revolutionary LightSpray 3D-printed upper technology. Previously limited to exclusive releases and professional athletes, LightSpray’s debut at scale marked a turning point for performance footwear manufacturing.

Weighing just 205 grams, the Cloudmonster 3 Hyper combined the printed upper’s form-fitting structure with On’s CloudTec cushioning system, resulting in a super trainer that pushed boundaries at every level. The shoe represented both a commercial and technological breakthrough for On as a brand.

The On LightSpray Cloudmonster 3 Hyper retailed at $280 and released March 5, 2026 through On’s website and select performance running retailers worldwide.
