Stone Island Brings Military Aesthetic to New Balance U1890ST

Stone Island and New Balance connect once again for a U1890ST collaboration that channels the Italian brand’s heritage of technical, military-influenced design. The shoe arrives in a green and grey colorway built on nylon ripstop construction paired with synthetic and suede overlays, materials that reflect Stone Island’s focus on durability and innovative textile treatments.

Details carry the collaboration’s DNA throughout. The nylon ripstop mesh tongue features “STONEISLAND” branding, while embroidered branding lands on the lateral back heel. New Balance’s “NB” mark appears on the back heel as well, grounding the shoe in its parent silhouette. Reflective accents add visibility and a technical edge consistent with both brands’ design philosophies.

Underfoot, the U1890ST pairs a reinforced heel counter with an ABZORB midsole for cushioning and support. A rubber outsole completes the build. The shoe retails for $250. Stone Island notes that all sales are final on this limited release, with no exchanges, returns, or refunds.
