Nike Air Max 95 Big Bubble “Greedy” Asks $200 for Four Colorways at Once

Nike is putting the Greedy back on shelves, and this time it sits on the Big Bubble tooling. The Air Max 95 Big Bubble “Greedy” arrives September 8 through SNKRS at $200, style code IM2211-001, in a greyscale upper Nike lists as White and Medium Ash. The pitch is right there in Nike’s own product copy, which asks why you would have one colorway when you can have them all. That has been the whole idea since the first Greedy in 2015.

The Air Max 95 has never been a subtle shoe and was never designed to be one. Sergio Lozano built it in 1995 while working on Nike’s ACG side, and he built it around two things that had nothing to do with running fast. The first was erosion, layers of soil worn away by rain until what sat underneath was exposed. That is the gradient. The second was human anatomy. Nike’s own history page maps it precisely, calling the shank that runs along the outsole and heel the spine, the nylon eyelets the ribs, and the layered mesh lacing structure up the sides muscle fibre and flesh. Nike’s current product copy on the standard Big Bubble tells it differently, calling the midsole and outsole the spine, the upper panels the muscles and the laces the ribs. Two Nike sources, two mappings, and the history page is the more specific of the two. Underneath all of it the 95 ran dual Air units, a first-of-its-kind running shoe with visible forefoot Air at a point when Nike had only ever shown the heel.

The Big Bubble program exists to answer a long-running complaint, that retro Air Max 95s came back with a smaller heel unit than the 1995 original carried. The Greedy is the mismatched idea finally getting that tooling. The upper runs greyscale, cream through ash and charcoal across the wavy side panels, and the accents refuse to agree with each other. Orange sits on the eyelets and the Swoosh, purple runs across the tongue and collar, and a pink and red gradient breaks up the mesh. The top-down images show the two shoes carrying different accent colors, which is the part that makes a Greedy a Greedy rather than just a busy makeup. The heel Air is tinted amber and sits visibly larger under the black midsole than a standard 95 retro. Photographed straight on it can look like a factory error. Understood properly it is the archive compressed into one pair.

Nike is asking $200 for this, and the standard Air Max 95 Big Bubble on Nike.com is $190. Ten dollars is not much on its own. The direction of travel is what makes it worth noting. On the same store today a women’s Air Max 95 is marked down to $147.97 from $195. The 95 as a general release is discounting. The Big Bubble line is not, and Nike keeps finding reasons to price it higher. That is a fair read of where Air Max sits in 2026. The franchise moves volume at the bottom and holds price at the top, and the top is now defined by tooling accuracy rather than by a collaborator’s name. A Greedy on Big Bubble tooling is the cleanest version of that argument, with no partner, no story beyond the archive, and a premium justified entirely by the size of the Air unit and the loyalty of the people who noticed it had shrunk.

On price, $200 puts the Greedy $10 above the standard Air Max 95 Big Bubble and $5 above the $195 that the general-release women’s 95 carries before Nike’s current markdown. There is a conflict worth flagging. House of Heat published this release at $190 and described the colorway as Black/Volt/White. Nike’s own SNKRS page says $200 and White and Medium Ash. The brand’s page wins, and it is the one linked below.
