Nike Air Max 95 ‘Slate’

The Air Max 95‘s remarkable run in 2026 continued in May with the Slate colorway, a revival of an original color combination that had not re-released in 11 years. The Big Bubble proportions that had been restored to the model made every colorway feel like a first encounter for a new generation of consumers.

Slate grey tones across the gradient upper with the model’s signature spine detailing and neon accent touches gave the colorway a sophisticated restraint that differed from the more expressive releases earlier in the year. The AM95’s momentum showed no signs of slowing into May.

The Nike Air Max 95 Slate retailed at $190 and released May 7, 2026 through Nike.com and select global footwear retailers.
