Nike Dunk Low Draft Day Releases June 26 on SNKRS

Nike is releasing a Dunk Low inspired by Kobe Bryant’s historic 1996 NBA Draft night, when he was selected by the Hornets before being traded to the Lakers. The shoe drops June 26, 2026, through SNKRS for $145.

The sneaker features a white leather base with snakeskin textured overlays in Fierce Purple and Blue Lagoon, representing Charlotte Hornets colors from that era. The heel features a split Kobe logo with letters divided between Hornets and Lakers colorways, paying tribute to the trade that sent him to Los Angeles. The sole includes a reworked traction pattern with the Kobe logo and ReactX foam cushioning.

The 1996 NBA Draft class included multiple Hall of Famers and future legends. That same year was also significant for Nike‘s sneaker lineup, which delivered numerous influential on-court and lifestyle designs. The draft class produced some of basketball‘s greatest players, making the moment a pivotal point in both NBA and sneaker history.

This Dunk Low is part of a broader Draft Day celebration from Nike, arriving alongside the Kobe 4 Protro Draft Day release. The Dunk Low Protro carries style code IM0586-500 and offers a casual take on Bryant’s legacy through Nike’s most iconic silhouette.
