Nike is launching a convenience store-themed sneaker series, starting with an Air Max 95 dressed in 7-Eleven’s iconic color palette. The project marks Nike’s return to 7-Eleven collaborations after a planned SB Dunk Low from 2020 was cancelled before release.
The Air Max 95 “7-Eleven” features an all-suede construction with white mesh at the top and layered sections in white, orange, green, and red that echo the convenience chain’s signature stripes. The shoe adds warm brown suede on the toe cap and heel tab, paired with a gum-colored sole.

Japanese convenience stores, known as konbini, are central to Japan’s food culture and daily life. While 7-Eleven is an American brand founded in Dallas, the Japanese locations operate very differently from their U.S. counterparts, focusing on quick, hot meals prepared and consumed in-store. This unique version of 7-Eleven has become deeply woven into Japanese streetwear and sneaker culture, making it a natural fit for Nike collaborations.
The Air Max 95 itself carries significant history as one of Nike’s most iconic silhouettes. Designed by Sergio Lozano and debuting in 1995, the AM95 pioneered visible Air technology and remains a staple in sneaker culture nearly three decades later. Its layered, segmented upper design makes it an ideal canvas for branded colorways and special editions.

Beyond the 7-Eleven pair, Nike plans to release a second Air Max 95 inspired by Japanese chain Lawson’s, expected to feature blue and white tones. The collection appears to focus on beloved Japanese institutions, though release availability outside Japan remains unconfirmed. Both pairs are expected to drop sometime during Summer 2026.
The 7-Eleven Air Max 95 will retail for $210. While Nike has not officially announced distribution details, sneaker enthusiasts should monitor SNKRS and select retailers for availability.
