SP5DER x adidas F50 Formotion Drops in Metallic Silver

SP5DER and adidas are expanding their partnership with a new take on the F50 Formotion, a hybrid runner that blends soccer boot and everyday sneaker DNA. The collaboration arrives in metallic silver with full chrome accents wrapping the heels, creating a reflective, eye-catching finish across the entire upper.

The F50 Formotion itself pairs a sole unit commonly seen on Ozweego models with an upper inspired by the iconic F50 soccer boot, making it a distinctive cross-category silhouette. SP5DER’s silver treatment plays up that hybrid character, dressing the shoe entirely in the metallic sheen for a cohesive look.

This marks another step in SP5DER’s growing collaboration with adidas. The Atlanta-based brand first partnered with the Three Stripes on a Superstar release through ComplexCon last year, then expanded with a wider rollout in early 2026. Now they are moving beyond court and street classics into runner territory.

The shoe released first at an SP5DER pop-up event in New York City on May 9, 2026, where the first ten people in line received their pair free. The pop-up was held at 45 Grand St. from 10AM to 8PM and also featured the brand’s latest apparel collection.

A global release followed in June 2026, bringing the F50 Formotion to wider availability after the NYC exclusive window.
